As we have been discussing we'll be doing a hands-on community service project Saturday, Sept. 19th. We will be building a children's garden at Teaching Tree Early Childhood Learning Center which is located at 424 Pine St., within the United Way site.
We are asking for 10 volunteers for the morning shift and 10 volunteers for the afternoon shift. The morning shift is from 9:00-11:30ish and the afternoon shift is 1:00-3:00ish.
Can you help with this project?
We will also need to gather the following tools for that day:
- 1. 8 wheelbarrows
- 2. rakes
- 3. shovels
- 4. large watering cans
- 5. all volunteers should plan to bring work gloves and water
Please email me if you can help is with this project or if you have any questions regarding this. If working that day isn't going to fit in your schedule would you have a wheelbarrow, large water can, rake or shovel we could borrow?
