Foothills Rotary Bulletin

Hello Foothills Rotarians,

My apologies for the delay in getting the bulletin out this week.  I got back later yesterday from an extended weekend trip and playing a bit of catch up.  Today we have a lot on our agenda and it will be an exciting day.   We will be inducting two new members into our club!  Anytime we have new member inductions I get really excited as it means we have new people helping us with our work and brining new ideas.

Today, we will also have a very special guest.   Carol Stein who has been our main server at the Marriott for several years retired earlier this month.  Today we will take time to honor her for all of her service to our club over the years.   There is no doubt that she will be missed by all of us!

Our speaker today will be David Riep from CSU.  David is a Professor of Art History at Colorado State and will be presenting on their collection of African Ceramics.   CSU holds one of the largest collections of African Ceramics.  It's always amazing to know the great things that are going on at CSU!

Finally, I wanted to remind everyone that we have our Alumni Lunch coming up November 4th!   I know that the majority of us know alumni so please get the word out.    If you are able to get a confirmation that someone can make it, please let me know so we can get a good headcount for the Marriott.
