It is a bit surreal to write my first bulletin as your President. After two years of preparing, the time is finally here! The RI Convention in Calgary was great.! It is really something to be with over 15,000 Rotarians all in the same place. I want to thank the club for making it a priority to send the President to the RI Convention. Not every club does this and I'm very appreciative for the opportunity! While District Conference and RI were great, I'm really looking forward to getting to the work of our club.
In lieu of a regular meeting on Tuesday we will instead have the Changing of the Guard Party
July 8th, 5:30-7:30 at Fossil Lake Ranch Clubhouse - 6022 Brookwater Lane. Carl has been hard at work planning this event and I'm so excited to see everyone in person again! This will be a great time to celebrate Wynn's great year as President.
This will also be our time to say goodbye to Louise. Next week she will be heading to Boston to attend Junior College. Louise's Aunt lives there and this will be a great way for her to stay in the country and continue her education. I know we are all going to her miss her. Our family has had the chance to host her this weekend and we have really been enjoying our time with her. Alex and I took her to a Rockies game today and they actually won!
Next Tuesday I will be the speaker. I'm looking forward to sharing a little more about the convention and my priorities for 25-26. I'm so excited that each of you are in this club and I'm grateful for all that you do for our club!
