Hope you all had a great week off. Not sure about you, but I am ready for this warm-up.
It is hard to believe there are only a little over four months left in my year as our club's president! I am overwhelmed with a sense of gratitude for each of you. The amount of time, talent and treasure shared in this club is truly amazing. Thank you. You continue to make a difference and improve lives.
If you have not already registered for the first ever Quad-Club Potluck Social, now is the time to do so. We currently have 15 folks registered from our club. This is far below the numbers from the other clubs. This is a great way to connect with Rotarians throughout Fort Collins. It is a week from Sunday, March 2nd. Please register at:

Irene Wherritt has applied and been approved for membership by your board of directors. If you have any questions or concerns, please contact me or one of your board members.
At next Tuesday's meeting we will be honoring Students of the Month from Lesher Middle School.
Congratulations to our Pickleball Team....another car delivered!

Peach Fest Training
It is also that time of year to start thinking about getting certified to be able to sell or serve alcohol at the Peach Festival. Previously folks were required to get TIPS Trained. However, the FCPD Safe Serve class seems to be a MUCH better option than TIPS. You must be in person but it is only $10, no test needed, just a class worksheet you fill out together at the end of the class and that is it. The class is good for two years, like TIPS and it is on record with FCPD.
The link below is to get on the schedule for the class which is one per month and all are taught by Carrie Ripsam, she is the Alcohol Enforcement officer for FCPD. Her classes do fill up since many attendees are new hires working for local bars, restaurants, etc. so you need to get online and reserve a spot while you can. When signing up under employer, put in PEACH FESTIVAL, that way Carrie will get us a record of all that have taken the course.
Rotaract
If you are interested in attending a CSU Rotaract meeting, see the QR code below for meeting info. They love to have Rotarains attend and learn from us.
A few other reminders:
1) There if no Guest Fee for potential members for their first two meetings. Just check the box on the sign-up sheet that they are a potential member and you will not be charged.
2) Newer members are encouraged to attend one of our monthly board meetings. They are a great way to learn more about our club and our operations. You can attend in person or via Zoom. Our next Board Meeting is Tuesday (25th) from 1:15-3:00. Here is the Zoom link:
3) A club member has challenged our club to raise $2,500 for Respite Care that he would match it with another $2,500. Respite Care qualifies for the Colorado Child Care Credit....so if you want to take advantage click here and just write in the note section, "Foothills Rotary match". https://respitecareinc.org/donate
