Foothills Rotary Weekly Bulletin

View Carl's video (2:45)

Welcome to February, everyone! It's supposed to be cold this weekend, so make sure to stay warm and healthy.

This is the first reading for Joel Biyinzika who has applied for membership in our club. He works at Adams Bank and Trust with Curtis. If you have any concerns or questions, please connect with Deems or me by this Friday.

We still have a few spots open for the Super Bowl pool, so check that out and signup this Tuesday!

Tomorrow is Purple Pins! I hope to see you there, as a contestant, sponsor, or supporter. Let's wipe out polio!

Thank you to all who have signed up for the Slammin' Famine project on February 15th. It will be followed by some social time at Mash Lab, pay your own way. Mash Lab drink menu - Mash Lab food menu

Rotary and the Colorado River

Dave Stewart, a member of the Downtown club, will present a video that was made as part of a District Grant to inform Rotarians about the Colorado River and how we can potentially make a difference in the conversation about conflict and using the 4 Way Test.  The video engages water experts throughout the Colorado River basin and will potentially be shown to the 3,000 + clubs in the basin.  The intent is to encourage Rotarians, which are community leaders, to help with the conversation about the River.
