Vocational Service Committee:The past and current focus of the Foothills Rotary Club Vocational Service Committee has been the Student of the Month Program. This program recognizes a student from each grade of each junior high school in Fort Collins. Recognition is afforded to selected students who, through their personal values and leadership, embody the ideals upon Rotary was founded. These include truthfulness, fairness, and providing beneficial service to others. The student is selected by the school counselor or principle and is given an opportunity to say a few words regarding their participation in activities that exemplify the principles of Rotary. The budget for the Student of the Month Program is about $100 per year for coins for the students and frames for their letters.
