TIME

Attendance: Rotary International requires that all members attend at least 60% of the regularly scheduled meetings. You will be expected to attend weekly meetings each Tuesday, noon to 1:15 p.m. You can make-up for missed meetings by attending a meeting at any other Rotary club. Make-ups within two weeks of a missed meeting will be credited for meal.

Committee Participation: You will be asked to participate on one committee. Your time commitment will depend on the committee you join.

Additional Projects: In addition, the club has various service projects to which you will be asked to contribute your time. We need strong support of these projects to continue our tradition of strong leadership and service in our community.

FINANCIAL

Dues & Assessments: Foothills Rotary is totally self-supporting. Your dues and community service assessment support all weekly lunches, community service projects, Rotary International and District dues, club administration, and the summer party.

Currently, our dues are $260 per quarter; which includes a $35 community service assessment and $25 donation to the Foothills Rotary Charitable Foundation. Our initiation fee is $50.

Foothills Rotary Charitable Foundation: Additional support of the Foothills Rotary Foundation can be made at its annual fund raising event.

Rotary International Foundation: We strongly encourage support of the Rotary International Foundation by being a Paul Harris Sustaining member at $25 per quarter. Our club goal is 100% participation.

Fines and Humor: As part of our weekly meetings, we have a segment for fines and humor. The money collected in fines provides spending money for our hosted foreign exchange students. Expect to contribute a couple dollars per week.

Other Social Events: With the exception of the summer party, all other social events are self-supporting and you will be billed for the events in which you choose to participate.

ENERGY

Above time and finances, what every good service organization needs is the energy of its members. Bring an abundant amount of your energy to each meeting and Rotary event.

FUN

Our club always strives to have fun at whatever we do. Service brings us together while the ability to have fun keeps us together! As a member of Foothills Rotary, you must be prepared to have fun at all times and under any conditions. THIS IS AN ABSOLUTE REQUIREMENT!
