Peter Long

Peter began his business career when he started Front Range Raynor Door Co., Inc. in 1987 when he was 24 years old. Having grown up in the construction industry he was certain that he wanted to stay in a profession that would include work boots and a hardhat. “I always enjoyed being on the jobsite and part of the building team who turn a set of blue prints into something useful and real.” Front Range Raynor provides both commercial and residential garage doors + related building products throughout the front range of both Colorado and Wyoming. They have a second office and warehouse in Colorado Springs.

Pete was raised Dixon, Illinois. He and former president Ronald Regan share the same hometown. Dixon is nestled along the Rock River valley and central to the agriculture belt of the mid-west. “Dixon has a rural atmosphere that provided plenty of open space which made life adventurous for a kid. My brothers and I raised a variety of animals and spent the majority of free time outdoors”.

Pete attended St. John’s University in Minnesota where he earned a degree in business administration. He then continued his education in Construction Management at Colorado State University.

He and his wife Margaret have been married for 20 years. Together, they have 3 boys and a Labrador who is a boy too. “As a family we are active in our church and schools. We also enjoy boating, skiing and travel.

I am looking forward to being involved with the Foothills Rotary Club and I appreciate the opportunity to be included as a member.
