New Learning Techniques
Oct 07, 2014
The last five years, we have learned more about how our brains work, than in the former fifty years before that. Although many of us have heard of some of the new scientific breakthroughs, very few of us have put this to use in our classroom, and in our daily life. After many years of studying, experimenting with, and improving upon the techniques known to improve learning, Magnus now teaches schools, student groups and companies the methods to learn better. In his talk, he will show you some of his experiences that can be of great value in todays education, but also for our daily lives. |

Lexington, Concord, and the Road To Revolution
Nov 11, 2014
The spring of 1775 was decisive in pushing the Thirteen Colonies from discord or open revolution. Walt Borneman's new book, AMERICAN SPRING: Lexington, Concord, and the Road to Revolution, peels back history's shorthand to debunk the myths of this time and show how quickly events moved even in the age of horseback and sail. |

Jan 25, 2015
Join us at Chipper's Lanes for the 5th Annual “Purple Pins for Polio” Event put on by the four Rotary Clubs in Fort Collins. This two hour bowling event has raised over $45,000 in support of Rotary International’s world-wide fight to eradicate polio. Since 1985, Rotary International has raised $1.2 billion to help reduce the number of cases of polio in the world from 350,000 annually in 1985, to fewer than 250 annually today. There remain three countries that have not stopped transmission of the disease; Afganistan, Nigeria and Pakistan. We are this close! Please have ONE person register per team, and give the $60 TEAM registration check to Dave Robinson. Contact Dave Robinson for more details. |

CONFIRMED - 13 Hours: The Inside Account of What Really Happened In Benghazi
Feb 10, 2015
Mark Geist & John Tiegen were two of the 6 American security operators (former US military) who fought at the American Embassy and the CIA Anex during the terrorist attack on September 12, 2012.
They were involved in the writing of the book - "13 Hours - The Inside Account of What Happened In Benghazi". It is a harrowing, true account from the brave men on the ground who fought back during the Battle of Benghazi.
13 HOURS presents, for the first time ever, the true account of the events of September 11, 2012, when terrorists attacked the US State Department Special Mission Compound and a nearby CIA station called the Annex in Benghazi, Libya. A team of six American security operators fought to repel the attackers and protect the Americans stationed there. Those men went beyond the call of duty, performing extraordinary acts of courage and heroism, to avert tragedy on a much larger scale. This is their personal account, never before told, of what happened during the thirteen hours of that now-infamous attack.
